“This was the greatest climbing experience I have ever had. I made tons of great friends and everyone was so fun to climb with. The altitude staff was attentive and so nice. They made everyone feel at home and at ease.
Chris was such a great coach and inspiration giving tips while DWS and getting beta while I was on the wall was an incredible experience. I would do it again and again.”

This Trip is for You Even if You're "Just" a Gym Climber
There's a question almost every climber asks before applying for a retreat like this:
"Am I good enough to climb with Chris Sharma?"
The 100% honest answer is: YES!
If you can climb around 6a (5.10a) on top rope (indoors or outdoors), you're at the right level. That's the only skill requirement.
Mallorca's cliffs have routes across every grade, and we pick the crag based on the group. You'll climb exactly what fits where you are.
Half the climbers on every retreat we do are gym-first climbers.
Most have never deep water soloed in their lives.
They leave saying it was the best week of their year.
And with Chris himself sitting next to you at dinner, giving beta on the wall, chatting about climbing, adventures and life...
We host these retreats with him because he genuinely treats every climber as an equal.
If you've been waiting to take a trip like this until you "climbed harder", you've been waiting on a moving target.
The climbers who join us aren't sponsored athletes. They're regulars at their home gym who decided this was the year!
“I wasn't sure if the retreat would be right for me as I really, and I mean really struggle with lead climbing above the bolt and I had never done deep water solo...
in fact it was EXACTLY what I needed.”
- Arnla K., May 2026 Mallorca attendee
What Will Your Week
in Mallorca Look Like?
We take care of all the logistics. Airport pickup, transport to the crag each day, all meals, all the climbing gear are on us. All you have to do is bring your shoes, harness, and chalk!
You arrive in the afternoon
Most climbers come solo, so by dinner that first night you've already met half the group.
Climbing world-class limestone
Mallorca has routes across every level. We pick the crag based on who's in the group, so you'll be climbing exactly where you should be.
Deep water soloing with Chris
Most climbers have never tried it. You'll be climbing above turquoise water on the same cliffs Chris helped put on the world map. Most climbers call it the best day of the trip.
Evenings at the villa
A local chef cooks dinner. Everyone eats together, including Chris. This is where retreatmates become friends.
By the last day,
most people are sending things they wouldn't have touched on day one. Ηalf the group is already asking about the next retreat.
See the rocks
you'll be climbing on!

We Take Care of Everything But the Climbing
Our promise is this:
Once you land in Mallorca, you don't have to think about a single thing besides climbing.
Here's what that looks like:
- A few weeks before the trip, our team reaches out about dietary needs, travel logistics, and anything specific you want for the week.
- You'll know exactly what to pack: climbing shoes, harness, chalk bag. That's the list!
- Airport pickup is coordinated for a smooth arrival.
- All transport to and from the crag is sorted, including the DWS spots!
- Packed lunches for at the crag, dinners by a local chef, including vegan, gluten-free, whatever you need.
- Every piece of climbing gear (ropes, draws, helmets) is available for you.
“Once I show up at the destination airport, everything is meticulously and expertly handled for me until I am dropped back off several days later. I don't need to worry about anything except climbing...
Time > Money is the equation in my life. You help me solve that equation.”
- Andy T., recent Altitude retreat
PRICE: $5,995 USD per climber
Or three monthly payments of $1,999 if you'd rather spread it out.
This works even if…
...you can only take a week off this year. The retreat is built for exactly that. Most climbers tell us they get more out of these five days than out of two-week trips they've planned themselves.
...the price feels like a stretch right now. The three-monthly-payment option ($1,999) is built for this. Almost half our climbers pick the payment plan and are able to enjoy the retreat. Need smaller installments? Just ask!
...you're traveling solo. Most climbers on every retreat come alone. The environment is built to make the group feel like friends fast.
...you're worried you'll be "the weakest one in the group." This is the single most common fear climbers tell us they had before booking. Every group has a mix: some on their first lead climbs, some climbing hard routes. We pick the crag based on who's there to make you feel comfortable.
...you climb mostly indoors and have never deep-water-soloed. Most climbers on every retreat fit this profile exactly. The Mallorca cliffs have routes across every level, and Chris started DWS on these cliffs. You'll be learning from the source!
...you have specific dietary needs. Past retreats have hosted vegans, vegetarians, gluten-free climbers, and a mix of allergies.
...you don't speak Spanish or you've never been to Europe. The retreat runs in English. Palma de Mallorca has direct flights from most major European cities and one-stop connections from US cities. Once you land, we handle everything!

DON’T JUST TAKE
OUR
WORD FOR IT
In July 2024 we announced the first-ever Altitude retreat. All seats sold out within 24 hours. After an awesome first experience in November 2024, we went back to Mallorca with Magnus and Chris in April and October 2025. Here’s what just some of the participants have said about their experience:
“This trip was awesome!! Climbing for 3 days with a stellar group of people. The team at Altitude goes above and beyond to make every moment the best it can be. They are organized and they know what climbers want. If your thinking about taking a climbing trip, Altitude is the team you can trust.”
Taylor L. (27, Utah, USA)
Alex T. (23, Massachusetts, USA)
“The retreat was amazing! We had a lot of time with Sharma and Magnus, and climbing side by side with Chris on the Es Pontas arch was a surreal experience! During four days we were exposed to Sharma's climbing philosophy and he did everything possible to ensure we had an amazing time in our first time in dws, I had never tried it and I loved it!
Everything ran smoothly, Altitude's team was great and super helpful.
Great climbing, cool people, good food and a comfortable stay. What else could we wish for?
10/10 would do it again.”
Gustavo R. (36, Brazil)
“If you’re even considering going on a retreat with Altitude, do it. You absolutely will not regret it. The Mallorca retreat with Chris Sharma was truly an unforgettable experience and allowed me to challenge myself in ways I never thought possible. I would do it again in a heartbeat.”
Sahlea T. (29, New Mexico, USA)
“This trip blew my expectations out of the water.
Being able to meet Chris in person and absorb his philosophies on climbing and life first hand was something truly unique. He couldn't have been more personable, walking up to folks and starting conversations as equals, and you could feel how passionate and excited about climbing he is by how excited he is to share it with others.
I was also impressed by the Altitude staff being so accommodating and social/personable as well.
They made everyone feel welcome and facilitated the participants making meaningful connections with each other as well as getting to know all of us personally.
They were very flexible in adapting to our preferences and our level of psych/energy as well as weather uncertainties to best ensure everyone could climb as much as they wanted in the styles they wanted (DWS/sport/gym/etc.).
The guides we worked with were fast, efficient, and very friendly as well which allowed us to make the most of the time we had to climb while also learning a lot about the areas through conversations in the cars, etc.
The villa we stayed at was one of the nicest places I've ever stayed (minus the see-through showers by the beds ;)) and the food was incredible! Chefs came in to cook for us, we went out to nice restaurants, and there were plenty of food/snacks for breakfast/lunch as well.
All the participants got along really well regardless of experience/skill level, culture, etc. Overall I was blown away by the experience and feel very blessed to have been a part of this trip. I would definitely recommend!”
DJ N. (33, California, USA)
“I loved being a part of this once-in-a-lifetime experience! It was so much fun trying deep water soloing for the first time with climbers from all around the world who are still united by their shared passion for climbing. I was honestly a bit apprehensive at first because of the cost of the retreat, but it was definitely worth it. I got a glimpse of Chris' and Magnus' philosophy on and their experience with climbing while also surpassing limits that I previously set for myself in climbing (mostly regarding how much I was willing to fight on a climb - which also meant onsighting a higher grade than I previously thought possible for myself). The team of Altitude was also great - they were present and really accomodating during all of the retreat. Thank you again for this opportunity and making it a great experience!”
Marina W. (29, Germany)
“Altitude's first climbing retreat in Mallorca with Sharma and Magnus was incredible.
The whole retreat was like a dream.
I've been climbing for a little more than 10 years, and I can say without a doubt that this has been my favorite climbing experience.
On this trip I discovered my calling for climbing above the water. Sharma had shown me that the freedom of movement above the sea offers an opportunity to be creative and commit to moves in ways that I have not felt in sport or bouldering.
Magnus gave me insight into how to better approach onsight climbing. Trying hard with both of them was a special moment in my climbing journey.
The Altitude staff curated a wonderful event, capturing the feel of Mallorca from the cuisine to the Finca where we all stayed. The pairing with excellent guides allowed us to really explore what the Island has to offer. Meeting the Altitude team and hanging out, climbing together and enjoying dinner was so fun. Staying in a gorgeous Finca with other climbers and getting to share experiences together was amazing. It was awesome meeting other people passionate about climbing and making new friendships. It truly felt like a dream come true.”
Brian L. (38, Texas, USA)
“I had an amazing time at the Mallorca retreat. It was so cool to meet and hang out with awesome climbers. The altitude team was so great, they really helped make the experience one to remember and were there to help with anything anyone needed. (Including getting me some deodorant because I ran out.) I would definitely love to join a future retreat with Altitude.”
Ryan M. (34, Texas, USA)
“Amazing Climbing & Deep Water Solo Retreat! (10/10)
This retreat was just incredible—great vibes, stunning locations, and a super supportive community. I pushed my limits, learned a ton, and gained additional confidence on the wall. The crags were a total highlight for both rock climbing and DWS! I left feeling stronger, more grounded, and super inspired! Keep on climbing! ;)”
Franco K. (42, Switzerland)
“It was amazing to be able to climb with Magnus and Chris. They were both approachable and genuine. This was such an amazing opportunity to try something I probably would have never done on my own. The events are so well thought out. You can tell the Altitude team really cares. I really enjoyed the different types of dinners after climbing, and how Magnus and Chris participate in those. The Rock and Water guides were also exceptional and accommodating. This is the adventure of a lifetime.”
Knut-Sigurd K. (50, Washington, USA)
“The April 2025 Mallorca climbing retreat was amazing! Everyone was extremely supportive and welcoming. It was great to meet and connect with climbers around the world. I was a little intimidated about the retreat at first, but I am so glad I went!
The Altitude team did an amazing job planning everything. They did such a great job accommodating to everyone’s skill levels. They also went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt comfortable. The guides we worked with at Rock and Water were also great. They were very knowledgeable and friendly and made sure we all got as much climbing in as we wanted to.
I was also blown away by Magnus and Chris. They were extremely personable and friendly. Getting to DWS with them was one of the highlights of the retreat. I also enjoyed witnessing the passion and love they have for climbing. I left the retreat feeling so motivated and inspired.
10/10!”
Sara H. (30, Texas, USA)
“This is a trip I would recommend to anyone who loves climbing, it’s hard to describe how unique it was. It completely changed how I think about climbing. Also the sense of community I felt was immediate, we were all meeting for the first time but with such a shared passion it felt like we were part of the same tribe from the very beginning.”
Martin Z. (53, New York, USA)

The climbers who come on these retreats are climbers who almost didn't…
Most of them spent a couple of weeks thinking about it.
They saw the page, found a reason to wait, closed the tab.
Then, one day, they didn't close the tab.
You can be that climber today.
